Jill Golgosky, Small Animal & Equine Acupressure Practitioner, CCRT
Jill is a certified small animal acupressure practitioner through Tallgrass Animal Acupressure Institute. She is a graduate of Kent State University with a degree in Zoology. For twelve years Jill worked in the Aviculture department at Sea World in Ohio. In 2008, she pursued a career in the veterinary field and became a registered veterinary technician and is currently employed at a specialty hospital in the internal medicine department. Jill is hopeful that in the future veterinary medicine will embrace both eastern and western medicine and feels when used in conjunction will provide unparalleled results.
Lynn is a Certified Equine Acupressure Practitioner, graduating from the Tallgrass Animal Acupressure Institute in August, 2010. Additionally, she is nationally certified through the National Board of Certification for Animal Acupressure & Massage (NBCAAM). Lynn has studied Reiki and Aromatherapy/Essential Oils for animals to add to her skills. She has joined forces with another Tallgrass graduate to provide horses with the best possible acupressure care through their business in the Miami Valley, OH, area. She is also available to give talks and demonstrations to local clubs and organizations.
Lynn's love for all things equine stretches back to days on her grandparents' farm. Since then, she's gone on to own, ride, and care for horses of her own. Several years ago, she sought the help from a Tallgrass practitioner for her Quarter Horse/Arab cross, Buck. He had been plagued with years of respiratory illness, and sentenced to a life supported with drugs. Acupressure changed that sentence, and it changed Lynn. She holds a Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Southern Mississippi, and has made a successful career in sleep and fatigue management.
Gail is a Certified Equine Acupressure Practitioner, having completed her studies through the Tallgrass Animal Acupressure Institute. She also has received her equine massage certification from Integrated Touch therapy in Circleville, Ohio. Gail offers her services in Chagrin Falls, Ohio and surrounding areas with her business, Tranquil Touch Equine Massage and Acupressure. She combines acupressure with massage therapy on both companion and competition horses and has found that they complement each other well.
She donates her services weekly to the horses at a therapeutic riding center. Since the horses tend to be older and may have health issues, it is very rewarding to help them which in turns helps the riders fully realize the benefits of the center. Gail plans to continue her education and further her knowledge in massage therapy as well as other holistic practices for the whole health of the horse. She owns and rides her own horse, Snowy.
