My interest for acupressure and massage started because I have many huskies and because I discovered how much we can feel and heal with our hands and hearts. During 2009 I finished my studies as a dog-massage therapist at the Axelsons Animal Massage School in Stockholm (Sweden). At the time, I already knew I wanted to combine K9-massage with acupressure and other elements of TCM and in 2016 I became a Small Animal Acupressure Practitioner.
Eva-Marie is a Certified Small Animal Acupressure Practitioner accredited by the Tallgrass Animal Acupressure Institute. Eva-Marie has had a strong connection to classical Chinese medicine for the past 25 years. Eva-Marie was president of the Swedish Acupuncture Association-TCM between 2015-2019. Animals have always had an important place in her life and she began early in her career as an acupuncturist to seek knowledge about the meridian system in animals as well. Through the literature, she came in contact with Amy Snow and Nancy Zidonis with their solid knowledge in TCM on animals. Their books and posters came to be faithful companions for many years before Eva-Marie finally took the step to study with the Tallgrass Small Animal program between 2019-2021.
