Specialties: Equine

animal acupressure massageLinda began her work with the equine during her studies as a therapeutic riding instructor. In 1999, Linda observed a horse receiving Reiki at a therapeutic riding conference she was attending in Maine, and from that moment on, Linda knew that she wanted to help horses to find and maintain balance using a holistic, non-invasive approach, and to encourage and teach the equine's guardians a more hands-on approach with their equine's health.

During her 10 years as a therapeutic riding instructor working with children and horses, Linda studied to become a Reiki Master and Teacher and created her own Reiki business, Circle of Peace, in 2007. She later retired from the therapeutic riding industry to commit fully to the well-being of the equine. When Linda discovered equine acupressure a few years later, and learned that it was another holistic, non-invasive method of healing for the mind, body, and spirit and that it would complement her Reiki practice, she went on to pursue certification as an Equine Acupressure Practitioner at Tallgrass Animal Acupressure Institute, which she accomplished. Linda is also certified through the National Board of Certification for Animal Acupressure & Massage (NBCAAM).

Linda offers Equine Acupressure and Reiki for Animals services out of Circle of Peace in Bolton, MA. Linda will continue her studies in Traditional Chinese Medicine and other holistic practices. Linda and her equine partner and spirit horse, Ka.Wa, have fun doing groundwork, trail rides, dressage, and simply being together.
