Gail is a practitioner of acupressure for Dogs and Cats. Her business, Pawsitive Points, is based out of Edmonds Washington and covers the Seattle area. Gail is very interested in bringing awareness of alternative medicine to pet owners to compliment vet care and help maintain their companion's health. She is especially interested in helping dog owners maintaining their best friend's comfort in his later years with acupressure. She offers her services in the animal's home where they will most likely be more comfortable. She continues to study traditional Chinese medicine to further her knowledge of alternative care so she can help animals in the best possible way. Her 4-legged family consists of two of the greatest dogs on the world, Mary and Rudi.
Laura has a life long interest in holistic health thru nutrition, bodywork, and enhancing the natural healing ability of the body. She has been a licensed massage therapist since 1998, with a private practice in the Columbia Gorge, and is certified thru Tallgrass Animal Acupressure Institute. The comprehensive nature of Traditional Chinese Medicine, partnered with organic foods, herbs and rehabilitative exercise plans, fits well into her practices with animals and humans. She welcome animals to her office space, or in home visit, to offer acupressure and consultation; including Tellington Touch, animal senior care or hospice.
Megumi, a Tallgrass Small Animal practitioner, has been practicing acupressure for over 30 years and has recently become a Licensed Massage Therapist in the State of WA. Her practice, Shiatsu for Paws, located in North Seattle, is focused on both dogs and humans. Megumi and her dogs, Casper and Chibi, actively participate in Obedience, Flyball, and Agility since moving to the US. She understands the kind of care animals need to perform and feel their best. Megumi is well versed in integrating Eastern and Western holistic care.
As a licensed Animal and Human Massage Practitioner, Vicki offers sessions at her office or on-site. In addition to being a practitioner, Vicki also specializes in creating and selling crystal essences to support physical, emotional, mental and spiritual issues for both animals and people. Vicki's background includes Alaska Institute of Acupressure, Canadian Institute of Acupressure, and Berkeley Institute of Acupressure, Animal Acupressure with Tallgrass, Inc, Upledger Institute, and Bellevue Massage School. Vicki has worked with animals and humans since 1996.
Small Animal Northwest Animal Holistic Health
Collene works with small animals at Northwest Animal Holistic Health, as well as through volunteer work with local Seattle animal rescue groups. Her special interest is assisting senior dogs to make the best of their golden years. She enjoys getting to know each new dog as an individual, and seeks to understand the totality of that individual's health needs. Collene's official qualifications include over 1000 hours of training to obtain a Veterinary Assistant certification through Pima Medical Institute, a Small Animal Massage Practitioner certification through the Northwest School of Animal Massage, and a Small Animal Acupressure Practitioner certification through Tallgrass Animal Acupressure Institute. She has also been board certified in both Canine Massage and Canine Acupressure by the National Board of Certification for Animal Acupressure & Massage.
Kim is certified with the National Board of Certification for Animal Acupressure & Massage (NBCAAM), Tallgrass Animal Acupressure Institute and has over 1000 hours of training in Holistic Animal Care and Equine Therapy including: Acupressure, Essential Oils, Cell Salts, Microbials, Homeopathy, Quantum Touch, Nutrition, and Rehabilitative Hoof Care. She uses horses in a therapeutic setting, providing services for at risk youth and those with disabilities. She is the founder of Unity Horsemanship, a pathway to better human relationships through the language of the horse.

Mikki Kison is a Certified Equine Acupressure Practitioner through Tallgrass Animal Acupressure Institute. She has worked with different healing modalities for animals for the last 15 years. She has working experience with equine herbs, and is a seasoned homeopath. TTouch, Jin Shin High Touch, Equine Iridology, and Reiki are some of the alternative therapies used in her work. Mikki was a contributing editor in the acupressure sections for Cheyanne West's new 3rd edition of "A Natural Path for Horses, A Guide to Homeopathy and Other Alternative Therapies" and the 2nd edition of "A Natural Path for Dogs, A Guide to Homeopathy and Other Alternative Therapies"
Mariann has been involved with animals in one form or another all her life. She was a wildlife biologist for 35 years and now has shifted to try to help small and large domestic animals. She has been a breeder of Morgan Horses for over 40 years and has bred Australian Shepherd dogs for over 20 years. She and her family are partnered with several dogs, cats, horses and an African Grey Parrot.
Mariann has been involved with TCM for 5 + years through Tai Chi and Qigong and practices a whole health approach looking at all aspects of an animal's health when assessing the situation. She offers an holistic approach to animal care and is interested in bringing awareness of alternative medicine to pet owners as a compliment to vet care. She uses a variety of modalities including acupressure, essential oils, energy balancing, animal communication, kinesiology and Reiki. Mariann is certified through the Tallgrass Animal Acupressure Institute and NBCAAM as an Acupressure Practitioner and in Equine Essential Oil Therapy and Food Therapy. She is certified through the Animal Spirit Network in Animal Communication, and the Wild Reiki Shamanic Healing Institute for Reiki Levels 1 and 2. She will do on site appointments at the animals' home where they are most comfortable.
