animal acupressure massageHorses are not just a tool for us to ride, drive or race. A horse is sanity, happiness, a teacher, a therapist, a partner and a best friend. Erika formed Eye on Equine Bodywork to give back to these wonderful beings we call horses. Erika started riding Western in preschool and soon advanced to riding English at a barn that trained retired throroughbred racehorses to jump. Due to her calm demeanor, she was often chosen to ride/groom the anxious horses. She still enjoys riding, mostly English pleasure and trail riding. animal acupressure massageJenilee has been drawn to animals from as early as she can remember. She sought out horses while working in Arizona several years ago and fell completely in love. She currently has a quarter horse mare with whom she jumps and does natural horsemanship clinics. In July 2014 she got the inspiration to look up acupressure for horses to see if such a thing existed. She thought it would be a great way to deepen the connection with her horse and keep her physically and emotionally balanced. Turns out such a thing did exist and she was certified as an equine acupressure practitioner with Tallgrass Animal Acupressure in June 2015 and nationally certified with NBCAAM in July 2015.

Jenilee is passionate about Traditional Chinese Medicine and energetics work and is excited to continue her lifelong education in those areas. She has also taken different energy modality courses over the years including Yuen Method and Matrix Energetics. Horses are wonderful, giving, spiritual animals who deserve all the love and care we humans can offer them. Jenilee can be reached by phone or email to arrange an acupressure appointment for your horse in the Tomball/Houston area. She will also have a website coming soon.

Tallgrass Equine Practitioner Lisa Beauchamp
I'm a life long horse lover, but only in the last decade a happy horse mom. I have enjoyed the benefits of Traditional Chinese Medicine for my own health for more than 20 years. When I found that this same incredible modality could benefit my beloved mare - I dove in.

I'm a graduate of Tallgrass Animal Acupressure Institute and Board Certified by NBCAAM.
My mare was diagnosed with kissing spine in 2017. After spending almost a year working with her from the ground, establishing good muscle build, getting massages and other body work; I felt that she still was not 100%. I brought in an Equine Acupressurist and all that changed. My girl was 100% again.
What I love about acupressure and Traditional Chinese Medicine is that it treats the entire horse - not just muscles and joints but the whole animal (or human).
When I'm not spoiling my girl you can find me on commercial construction sites playing project manager.

animal acupressure massageJodi has been a horse trainer for over 15 years, and was looking to add to the relationship and well-being of her equine companions. She found Traditional Chinese Medicine and was very excited to add Acupressure to her training program. Tallgrass Animal acupressure Institute was the answer to "Getting and keeping your horse sound", as Jodi says. As seen in training, most horses get injured because they are not ready for the heavy work of a training program. Acupressure offers a safe and effective way to keep our equine friends healthy while maintaining their job. Jodi has seen amazing benefits in the horses she has cared for. Jodi is available by phone or email and works in the Austin, Texas area.

Equine Acupressure Practitioner

Madison is a certified Equine Acupressure Practitioner through Tallgrass Animal Acupressure Institute. She was born with a passion for all animals. With a cowboy/ranch foreman father and an animal health inspector mother, a deep love and respect for animals is in her blood. During research for an essay assignment in 8th grade, Madison came across the Tallgrass website and knew she had found her calling in life.
Madison showed sheep, goats, and heifers with her local FFA chapter all through school and has been awarded the American Degree, which is the highest honor and FFA member can possess. After graduating high school in 2016, Madison started raising show lambs for the upcoming FFA and 4H members in her community and enrolled in the Equine Acupressure Program at Tallgrass.  She plans to incorporate her ever-expanding knowledge of Traditional Chinese Medicine into show animals as well as the hard-working ranch and rodeo horses in her community.
