If you are interested in taking care of your own horses, dogs, and cats, we look forward to sharing one of the most deceptively gentle, safe, non-invasive, and extremely powerful ancient healing arts that has been used for animals for 1000's of years.

Everyone can participate in any of the Tallgrass e-learning opportunities to learn about animal acupressure. 


The following is best to proceed through the e-learning opportunities to receive the maximum benefit.


For Existing Students Only - Two elective courses (40 Hours) are required to complete the Program. To be eligible to sit for the National Board of Certification for Animal Acupressure & Massage (NBCAAM) exam, one of the two electives needs to be a hands-on course of 20 + verifiable hours approved by NBCAAM. The hands-on elective offered by Tallgrass, Introduction to Animal Acupressure and or the Tui Na: Chinese Meridian Massage course qualifies. The electives need not be taken through Tallgrass.  Elective courses may include the study of: essential oils, Reiki, crystals, massage, etc. and preferably in working with animals. Participants are requested to submit copies of certificates, letters or other verification of completion for courses in other complementary therapies to fulfill the elective requirement of (40 hours). It is required that one 20-hour + elective course be a hands-on course approved by NBCAAM.
