animal acupressure massageLaura is a Certified Equine and Small Animal Acupressure Practitioner, having completed both courses through Tallgrass Animal Acupressure Institute. She has her dual certifications through the National Board of Certification for Animal Acupressure and Massage (NBCAAM). Laura has also completed the following courses in order to expand her knowledge: The NRC Plus Nutrition Course offered by Dr. Eleanor Kellon, The Five Element Horse Personality Course offered by Dr. Madalyn Ward and The Buster Harlow Equine Sports Therapy/Massage School.

Laura was born and raised in Wyoming and has always had a dream to assist animals. She has spent the last 18 years in Cody with her husband, grown daughter, grandson, 3 Quarter horses, 2 rescued Rottweiler's and a mixed-breed. She is very familiar with the difficulties that animals face due to the Wyoming climate and wind. Laura welcomes all opportunities to help animals and their owners. She is available for consultation via phone or e-mail. Laura offers her services on site. She is set up to travel to barn, stable or home for appointments. She wants to ensure that the animal and owner are comfortable in their home environment. Laura is also available to give talks and demonstrations to local clubs and organizations.

animal acupressure massageDee Dee Sorsby of Wilson, Wyoming, started study and training in equine acupressure in 2006. She passed her practicum and received her certification from Tallgrass Animal Acupressure in the summer of 2009. She decided to undertake this area of study after she had qualified as an equine massage practitioner from the Western Montana School of Equine Massage. Dee Dee graduated from this school in 2004 and set up her small business of Equine Mobile Massage of Jackson Hole, Inc. She works independently and with the recommendation of her local traditional veterinarian as well as the local holistic veterinarian.

In March 2011, Dee Dee obtained national Equine Acupressure certification through the National Board of Certification for Animal Acupressure & Massage (NBCAAM).

Dee Dee is retired from the educational field with 32 years as a physical education instructor. She has two Masters Degrees: Outdoor Education and Guidance. She is active in karate training, receiving her first degree black belt in 2006 and now training in 2nd level and weapons. She has taught Womens Self Defense courses locally. She owns 3 Arabians, Egyptian-Russian-and Polish-shows locally in reining, western riding, and trail horse and is working on level 3 of the Parelli Natural Horsemanship training program. For the past 5 years she has been a member of the Citizens Mounted Unit of Jackson Hole Police which requires 40 hours intensive training and yearly re-qualification.
