animal acupressure massage

I am just a huge dog lover who wants to give the best life to my great friends. After years of self-study of natural diet for dogs, canine massage, energy balancing, and other modalities I was pleased to find the Tallgrass Animal Acupressure Institute in 2006. At that point, I decided to bring my skills to the professional level. Now that I have completed the 330 hour training program, I am a Small Animal Acupressure Practitioner. I am looking forward to connecting with many beautiful souls while applying my knowledge and skills in New Zealand and beyond. Dogs are special beings and I want to contribute to their having healthy, active lives.

Having studied Equine Business Management BA(Hons) at Hartpury College, Amy has a solid understanding of the scientific approach to equines. Whilst studying Amy continued competing in British Eventing, and found that the whole modern approach to riding and medicine was too narrow for her. Working on an 18,000 acre station in South Island New Zealand, and then completing level 2 Reiki, as well as attending a Buck Brannaman clinic in 2016, put Amy on a totally different path to approaching problems with horses.

Patience, small steps and repetition are now the basis for anything Amy does with horses. Equine Acupressure allows a balance to Amy’s previous knowledge, and is something that she finds to be the physical manifestation of Reiki. Having found her degree as too narrow for an approach to dealing with horses, Amy continues her studies in her spare time, recently beginning the journey on how to trim her horses’ feet, and new investigations in to equine nutrition. Based in West Auckland, Amy’s overall life ambition is to learn as much as she can about horses, to give them the best care and understanding possible, on every level. The next two years will bring Bowen Therapy in to the mix.
