Barbara Scalise Barb Scalise, CPDT, has been working with dogs full time since 1995 when she opened a local pet-sitting service. Over the last ten years, she has completed certifications in pet dog training, canine massage and, in June of 2005, small animal acupressure. According to Barb, fitness is an important component of dog training and guardianship. She's a big believer in the saying "If your dog is overweight, you're not getting enough exercise!" And she knows from personal experience that acupressure is one of the best modalities for keeping your dog fit and active, both physically and mentally. Barb's current pack consists of two chocolate labs, an English pointer and a vizsla, who hold titles in agility, obedience, rally-o, tacking and field events. And, of course, her ever-patient husband, Ralph, who doesn't hold any official titles at all and yet, she cant' imagine the journey without him! |
