Nancy has a varied and extensive background in the horse world. She did foxhunting and steeple chase when growing up in Georgia. Nancy obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science with a specialty in Equine Sciences from Louisiana Tech (LT). While attending LT, she "broke" 2-year olds using non-force methods which entails using body movement and energy levels to communicate and control the horse.Nancy has been a jockey in the racing industry, as well.

During the last 15 years, Nancy has trained thoroughbreds at race tracks thou the United States. Her current practice combines her training work and in-depth knowledge of horses with her Certification in Equine Acupressure through Tallgrass and her equine massage therapy background

Barb Scalise, CPDT, has been working with dogs full time since 1995 when she opened a local pet-sitting service. Over the last ten years, she has completed certifications in pet dog training, canine massage and, in June of 2005, small animal acupressure.

According to Barb, fitness is an important component of dog training and guardianship. She's a big believer in the saying "If your dog is overweight, you're not getting enough exercise!" And she knows from personal experience that acupressure is one of the best modalities for keeping your dog fit and active, both physically and mentally.

Barb's current pack consists of two chocolate labs, an English pointer and a vizsla, who hold titles in agility, obedience, rally-o, tacking and field events. And, of course, her ever-patient husband, Ralph, who doesn't hold any official titles at all and yet, she cant' imagine the journey without him!

In addition to her acupressure certification, Kathi is certified in Equine Massage and Canine Massage having completed her studies at Integrated Touch Therapies in Circleville, Ohio. Her Equine clients benefit from the integration massage and acupressure. With over 15 year's of experience owning and competing with various breeds and disciplines, Kathi enjoys working with horses and their human companions.

Her continued interest in Traditional Chinese Medicine and bodywork has led to the pursuit of certification and licensing in human massage integrating both eastern and western modalities.

Christine is a Practitioner of Small Animal Acupressure with Tallgrass and is the founder of Dogs 4 Life, established in 2002. She specializes in canine in-home programs including: behavior training, acupressure and massage, offered throughout the NW & W Suburbs of Chicago.

Christine has an in-depth background working many dogs that have experienced emotional trauma, such as: abuse, neglect, abandonment, and other temprament and behavior issues.
